LGBTQ+ Walk, Talk and Cuppa at Portrait Gallery

Join a friendly and welcoming group of LGBTQ+ people for a look around the Scottish National Portrait Gallery. Connect with other members of the local LGBTQ+ community, take in the art exhibitions and enjoy some culture. We will finish with a drink at the gallery café for a nice chat.

We particularly welcome LGBTQ+ carers but anyone from the LGBTQ+ community aged 16+ in Edinburgh is welcome to join us.

We welcome the entire diversity of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community including non-binary, queer, intersex, asexual people and all identities under the LGBTQIA+ umbrella. This includes those who are questioning or exploring their sexual orientation or gender identity.

Spaces are limited to 20 people so we need you to register in advance.

Registration is for 1 person only. If you wish to book for someone, please make another registration using their name.

If something changes and you can no longer attend the meetup, please let us know as soon as you can so your booking becomes available for someone else.

We will meet at the Scottish National Portrait Gallery.

♿ The Portrait Gallery is wheelchair accessible with ramp access to both sides of the main entrance door which is manual and staffed during opening hours by a front of house team.

All levels are step-free and accessible by lift.

There is an accessible gender neutral toilet on the ground level near the main entrance.
