We are excited to announce the return of our free peer-facilitated support groups!

Our next group is SUNDAY, OCTOBER 6, 3:30 PM - 5:00 PM at Youth Pride RI (743 Westminster St Providence).

We are also excited to share that this time around, we will have babysitters on site for those of you with older kids who are unable to find childcare. Our goal is to remove as many barriers to attending and finding support as possible.

For those new to our peer groups, here are the basics:
- This groups is open to all LGBTQ+ adults who are anywhere in the family-building process. You may be deciding if you want to parent or you may be parenting older children/adults.
- Lap babies are welcome to attend with parents but we request that children who are more mobile use the childcare service.
- Please arrive on time and stay for the full group to create a disruption-free space for the sometimes intimate conversations that take place.
- Each group is facilitated by 1-2 LGBTQ+ peers. We always start with opening the floor to anything that may be on people's minds. The facilitators also come prepared with a topic to discuss if the group needs more structure. Some of our past topics include: The process of starting your family, the joys and challenges in being queer parents, navigating family relationships, self care, parenting questions and concerns, gender and parenting, and family transitions.
