LGBT+ TTRPG Night at the Board Room Game Cafe!
About this Event
Join us this Pride for an evening of LGBTQ+ games and fun! We've recruited some amazing volunteer Game Master's to run some Queer Role-Playing Game One-Shots! And no prior experience is required to play at their tables!
To participate in this event, review the options of the different games below and sign up for a seat at the table that interests you the most!
Admission is $10 each (+tax and Eventbrite fees), granting everyone access to both the event, and our collection of 600+ board games before and after the event (provided there is space)!
Please note, the cafe is All Ages for regular games, but these LGBT+ TTRPG games have a few age restrictions. Be sure to check the description of the game you're signing up for to make sure it's right for you. Any guests under 14 must be accompanied by a chaperone!

"On the Studio Ghibli-inspired shores of Obojima island, a small town's annual Sheep-dragon festival is under threat from a group of mischief-makers! Only you and your companions can ensure the joy of the festival remains safe for all this year! Obojima's low combat, high whimsy setting is perfect for players looking for a low-stakes, silly, easygoing little adventure!!"

Adventure Hook from the GM:
"Hard Wired Island is a retro-future game inspired by 90s Sci-Fi anime like Bubblegum Crisis and Cowboy Bebop as well as Cyberpunk set on the space station of Grand Cross in the far future of 2020. The players play the owners and employees of the Cat Cafe Catstellation which features a variety of cats and robot cats as the robot cats start going haywire, Its a Cat-tastrophe! In order to fix the issue the players must hack, sneak and organize in this system that makes those things as engaging and deep as combat."

"The City of Osperage has the continent of Harbourage's largest queer establishment "Kitty's House". A 3 story bar and halfway house which is home to Drag and Burlesque performers and anyone who is queer and without a home. The bar has approached your party for help with a request for help they received.A travelling faire owned and operated by queer folk, has received threats of violence for the last stretch of their trip to Osperage. It is up to the party to go and provide security and make sure that this parade of faire workers and their carts makes it to Osperage to put on the pride faire."

You and your friends have gathered at the abandoned Holy Host Church to summon the demon and beg for your deepest desires, but devils pay their bargains with blood. Will you survive to see your wishes come true? Will you leave the church a more wretched soul than you entered? Or will you never leave at all?"

"You've heard whisperings of a mystical, liminal place that appears when an adventurer most needs it: The Blue Moon Cafe. It will appear to an adventurer when they need a job and a party, no matter where they are, and once inside, they'll only leave after they have secured a job with a new group of fellow adventurers. You never thought much of the rumours, but one night you find yourself standing in front of a blue door with a moon on it that's never been there before, and after you step inside, you're hired for a daring rescue mission. Will you open the door?"

REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS
Seating is limited so please let us know if you can no longer make it! If you have to cancel for any reason, please email events@boardroomgames. ca.
Tickets cancelled more than 48 hours in advance of the event are eligible for a full refund on ticket price. Tickets cancelled less than 48 hours are eligible for 50% refund. There will be no refunds for no shows.
