LGBT Detroit Health: Official Launch

On Saturday, January 17, 2026 from 1PM to 4PM, at 15944 W McNichols Rd in Detroit, LGBT Detroit welcomes residents to a new iteration of health. This milestone marks a powerful new chapter in our mission to uplift and strengthen Detroit’s LGBT+ community through a holistic approach to health and wellness.

In 2023, LGBT Detroit expanded by acquiring a third property in northwest Detroit—envisioned as a dedicated space for community-centered healthcare. That vision has now come to life. LGBT Detroit Health is on its way to deliver full-scale services that promote physical, mental, nutritional, and emotional well-being programming.

LGBT Detroit Health offerings include:

• Personalized fitness and wellness classes
• Mental health support sessions
• Chronic care management, and
• Nutrition and lifestyle coaching

“LGBT Detroit Health is not just a program—it’s a promise,” said Nzere Kwabena, Executive Director of LGBT Detroit. “We’re creating a space where our community can access direct care, support, and education that affirms who we are and empowers how we live safely.”

"By combining expert instruction, nutritional guidance, and additional resources, we aim to create a truly transformative experience for our community."
