Lexington November Scholastic Chess Tournament

Saturday, November 9, 2024 from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM

Location: The Lexington School 1050 Lane Allen Rd, Lexington, KY 40504

Late Registration at 8:00 AM

K-3 & K-5 Round 1 begins at 8:30 AM

K-8 & K-12 Round 1 begins at 8:15 AM

US Chess Federation membership is required before registering!

We expect most players will be finished before 2:00 PM

Sections and time controls:

K-3, K-5: 5 games in each section, G/30

K-8, K-12: 4 games in each section, G/30 +10 seconds per move

Sections may be combined if necessary. Players still compete for prizes in their grade section only, even in a combined section.

Entry Fee: $30 per player online by 8:00 PM Friday 11/8, $35 for onsite entry

Trophies: 3 in each section & additional prizes depending on the number of entries.

Refunds: There are no cash refunds. A credit will be given to anyone who withdraws via E-mail by 8:00 PM Friday 11/8. The credit is good at either the 12/5/24 or the 1/18/25 tournament.
