The Lexington Chamber’s Non-Profit Council exists to serve, support and strengthen its shareholder non-profit organizations through capacity-building, collaboration, connections, and advocacy for a stronger Lexington community.

In this session you will learn methods to inspire, attract, and engage existing donors within your agency or organization. This session will provide you with the tools and resources to evaluate your database strategies, offer guidance on individualized strategic engagement planning and fundraising ideas, and discuss ways to strengthen your donor relations.

Melissa DeClue, CFRE, is a certified fundraising executive and specialist in donor relations and engagement strategies. As the Founder and CEO of Amplify Missions, she partners with passionate nonprofit founders, coaching and empowering them to amplify their mission through transformative, community-centric donor experiences. With a career spanning more than a decade in the nonprofit sector, she offers specialized expertise in major and mid-level gift fundraising, stewardship, event management, and database administration. She is deeply dedicated to enhancing nonprofit capacity and long-term sustainability by deploying ethical, high-impact fundraising frameworks. Throughout her professional career, she has built and sustained vital partnerships with key stakeholders and donors across South Carolina, California, Connecticut, New York, and beyond, consistently achieving impactful outcomes rooted in intentional engagement and comprehensive strategic planning.

Melissa is a double graduate of Columbia College (Go Koalas!) and lives in Lexington,SC with her husband and children.
