The Lew Klein Alumni in the Media Awards were established in 2000 through the generosity of Gerry and Marguerite Lenfest and the Annenberg Foundation, to honor broadcasting legend and longtime Temple University instructor Lew Klein. The awards celebrate Klein College graduates whose achievements in the media bring honor to Temple, along with one media figure who represents the excellence and values personified by Lew Klein. Proceeds from the dinner benefit the Lew Klein Scholarship Fund, which helps defray tuition costs for students, enabling them to pursue off-campus study and internship opportunities.We are excited to announce Emmy award-winning writer, producer, and actor Quinta Brunson will be our Excellence in the Media honoree this year. This year’s Rising Star award will be presented to Teresa M. Lundy , KLN ‘14, who is principal and founder for TML Communications.
