Bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy an evening of live music, food trucks, and local art vendors in one of Tallahassee’s most beautiful public spaces. It’s the perfect way to gather with friends, family, and neighbors while supporting local artists and downtown businesses. Beverages will be available for purchase at the Charlie Park bar on-site at the events.
Paul McDonald is an American singer-songwriter from Alabama, now based in Nashville, known for his rich, raspy voice and roots-infused songwriting that blends Americana, rock, gospel-tinged energy, and poetic storytelling. After early national exposure on American Idol and years fronting bands like Hightide Blues and The Grand Magnolias, he formed The Mourning Doves to craft a more organic, collaborative sound with his live band. Together they write and perform original songs that feel both timeless and deeply personal, and they tour regularly across the U.S. at festivals, clubs, and intimate venues while building a passionate following for their heartfelt performances.
