About this Event

Would you know what to do if someone suffered a life-threatening allergic reaction right in front of you?
Anaphylaxis can happen anywhere. At school. At work. In restaurants. In gyms. At home. On public transport. Even to someone with no known allergy history.
The reality is simple. Fast recognition and immediate action save lives.
Following the introduction of Benedict’s Law and the latest guidance from the Department for Education and Department of Health, allergy awareness and anaphylaxis management has never been more important. Schools and organisations are now expected to ensure staff are properly trained to recognise the signs of anaphylaxis, respond quickly and confidently administer emergency treatment when needed.
This practical and engaging Level 3 qualification gives learners the confidence, knowledge and hands-on skills to respond to an anaphylactic emergency safely and effectively.
Throughout the course you will explore:
• What anaphylaxis is and why it happens
• Common allergens and triggers
• Recognising mild and severe allergic reactions
• Early recognition of anaphylaxis
• Using adrenaline auto-injectors safely and correctly
• Immediate emergency treatment and casualty care
• Communication and reassurance during high-stress situations
• Calling and handing over to emergency services
• Current legislation and guidance surrounding allergy management
• Realistic practical scenarios and hands-on activities
This course is ideal for:
• Schools and education staff
• Parents and carers
• First aiders
• Sports coaches
• Healthcare professionals
• Childcare settings
• Hospitality staff
• Care workers
• Community groups
• Anyone who wants the confidence to help save a life
Because the truth is this that Anaphylaxis does not wait for an ambulance. It does not care about job titles or qualifications.
The person who saves a life could be anyone. Including you.
This regulated Level 3 qualification is designed to build real confidence, practical skills and the ability to act when it matters most.
Train with purpose.
Act with confidence.
Be the difference.
