Level 3 Award in Counter-Terrorism Protective Security and Preparedness
About this Event
The Institute of Strategic Risk Management are proud to announce that we have been approved as a Centre for Skills for Justice Awards to deliver the Level 3 Award in Counter-Terrorism Protective Security and Preparedness (CTPSaP).
This qualification has been developed in collaboration with the National Counter-Terrorism
Security Office (NaCTSO) and SFJ Awards. It has been designed to align with the Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025 and is also known as the ‘Competent Person’ course.
Delegates will complete the following modules:
- Introduction to Counter-Terrorism
- Positive Organisational Security Culture
- Counter-Terrorism Protective Security
- Counter-Terrorism Preparedness
- Completing a Counter-Terrorism Risk Assessment and Preparedness Plan
- Completing a Counter-Terrorism Written Recommendation
By the end of the course, delegates will have the knowledge and practical skills to identify terrorist threats and vulnerabilities, implement effective protective security measures, develop organisational preparedness plans, and produce professional risk assessments and recommendations that support compliance and strengthen organisational resilience.
