Level 2 Intermediate Sound Healer Training (Costa Mesa)

We're excited to introduce our Level 2 Intermediate Sound Healer Training, designed for returning students who have completed our Fundamentals of Sound Healing Level 1 course or an equivalent beginner sound healing training.

Building upon the foundations learned in Level 1, this immersive weekend experience is focused on refining your musicality by learning how to seamlessly blend crystal singing bowls, planetary gongs, and accessory instruments into a cohesive sound journey. Rather than simply learning additional techniques on individual instruments, this course is dedicated to developing the timing, transitions, sequencing, and musical awareness that bring every element of a sound bath together.

Throughout the weekend, Kyle will teach the intermediate techniques he has developed over years of facilitating thousands of sound baths. You'll learn how to move effortlessly between crystal singing bowl chord combinations, weave planetary gongs into your existing soundscape, and thoughtfully incorporate accessory instruments to create greater texture, movement, and emotional depth. You'll also develop stronger body mechanics, improve your mobility while playing, and discover practical techniques that create a greater sense of ease throughout your performance.

This curriculum is designed for practitioners who already understand the fundamentals of sound healing and are ready to refine their technical abilities while developing a more intentional and musical approach to facilitating sound baths.

Spend two immersive days developing your sound healing practice through guided instruction, demonstrations, individual coaching, and collaborative practice. Each session is intentionally kept small to provide personalized feedback, meaningful discussion, and plenty of hands on experience.

Refine your ability to transition between multiple crystal singing bowls with greater confidence and precision. Kyle will teach the intermediate techniques he personally uses to create smoother transitions, cleaner execution, and a more effortless playing experience. Learn how to move naturally between chord combinations while developing stronger coordination, musicality, and flow.

Develop a deeper understanding of pacing, rhythm, and musical timing throughout a sound bath. Learn when to introduce new sounds, how long to remain within a chord progression, and how to transition naturally between crystal singing bowls, planetary gongs, and accessory instruments without interrupting the experience. These concepts will help you create sound journeys that feel intentional, immersive, and balanced.

One of the primary focuses of this training is learning how to weave your instruments together into one cohesive musical experience. Rather than viewing each instrument independently, you'll discover how crystal singing bowls, planetary gongs, rainsticks, ocean drums, chimes, crystal harps, and other accessory instruments can complement one another to create greater emotional depth, texture, and movement throughout your sound bath.

One of the signature concepts taught during this training is learning how to categorize sound. Every instrument has a different role within a sound journey. Some sounds help participants settle into relaxation, while others create movement, spaciousness, grounding, or moments of reflection. Understanding these categories will help you make intentional musical decisions while creating greater variety and purpose throughout your sound baths.

Develop stronger body mechanics that improve your mobility, reduce unnecessary movement, and create greater ease while performing. Kyle will share the positioning, posture, and playing techniques he has refined over years of facilitating professional sound baths, helping you navigate larger instrument setups with greater comfort and confidence.

Apply everything you've learned through guided practice sessions while receiving individualized coaching from Kyle. Experiment with different approaches, receive constructive feedback, and build greater confidence in your own musical style while developing your unique voice as a sound healer.

As your technical skills improve, so should your ability to remain present. Throughout the training you'll continue strengthening your awareness, listening, and mindfulness so you can hold space with greater confidence while remaining deeply connected to your instruments and your participants.

Who Is This Training For?

While we highly recommend students complete our Fundamentals of Sound Healing Level 1 Training, we also welcome practitioners who have completed a Level 1 training through another instructor.

The most important prerequisite is that you have already developed a solid technical foundation in playing crystal singing bowls and understand the fundamentals of sound healing. Level 2 is designed to build upon those skills rather than teach them from the beginning.

Instrument Recommendations

We highly recommend bringing your own set of crystal singing bowls, with a seven bowl set being ideal for the training. Practicing on your own instruments allows you to become more familiar with their individual characteristics while applying everything you learn throughout the weekend.

If you're traveling or do not yet own a set, simply let us know and we'll reserve one of our crystal bowl sets for you to use during the training.

All planetary gongs and accessory instruments used throughout the course will be provided by Kyle for the training.

While all planetary gongs and accessory instruments will be provided during the training, we strongly encourage students to bring their own crystal singing bowls whenever possible. Training on your own instruments allows you to become more familiar with their sound and develop techniques that naturally transfer into your own personal practice.
