Ever dreamed of being a comedian? Making people laugh is a huge high, but taking the stage can be nerve wracking! This seven week workshop is aimed at beginners - a great way to get started in a fun and supportive atmosphere.
The session wraps with a comedy showcase on Sat. Nov. 14. Performing is optional but highly recommended! Enjoy a festive night out with new friends. Adult content 19 +.
Instructor Kirsten Van Ritzen is an acclaimed professional performer who has taught hundreds of regular folks over the past decade. Her Stand Up Comedy class won the PLATINUM & GOLD AWARDS "Best Performing Arts Class" Victoria Community Votes multiple years in a row.

2) Pay tuition: $245 OPTIONS:
- credit card at Eventbrite (service fee applies)
- etransfer to [email protected] (bank etransfers do NOT include Contact info. Be sure to include NAME OF THE PARTICIPANT in the message AND fill out that Google doc form in STEP 1 so that we can confirm!)
- cash or cheque by arrangement
James Bay New Horizons is an accessible venue.
After the class is sold out, a WAIT LIST will be taken on EVENTBRITE only, click on buy now to add your name to the list. If a spot opens up BEFORE the first class, you will be contacted and given the option to register. Your card will not be automatically charged.
REFUND/COVID POLICY
Tuition (minus service fee if applicable)is fully refundable up to 7 days before the first class. After the session begins, there are NO refunds for missed classes or for dropping out. If Public Health Orders limit public gatherings, class may revert to Online learning via Zoom and a live show is not guaranteed, no adjustments will be made for such changes.
