Have you ever dreamed of being a comedian? Standing on stage and making people laugh is a huge high - but maybe you are nervous or don't know where to begin. This eight week workshop is a great way to get started in a fun and supportive atmosphere.

Write and perform original stand up with the best! Instructor Kirsten Van Ritzen is an acclaimed professional performer who has taught hundreds of regular folks over the past decade. Her Stand Up Comedy class won the PLATINUM & GOLD AWARDS "Best Performing Arts Class" Victoria Community Votes three years in a row. The session wraps with a comedy showcase on Nov. 29. You have the option of making your stage debut - or just watch and enjoy a great night out with friends. Uncensored material may be presented 19+.

James Bay New Horizons is an accessible venue.

After the class is sold out, a WAIT LIST will be taken on EVENTBRITE only. Click on Buy Now to add your name to the list. If a spot opens up before the first class, you will be contacted and given the option to register. (your card will not be automatically charged)

REFUND/COVID POLICY

Tuition (minus service fee is applicable)is fully refundable up to 7 days before the first class. After the session begins, there are NO refunds for missed classes or for dropping out. If Public Health Orders limit public gatherings, class may revert to Online learning via Zoom and a live show is not guaranteed.
