Pre-requisite: no experience required
All participants must be 18 years or older
Bring your own rope if possible, otherwise class rope is available.
Our beginners shibari class is designed to build strong foundational tying skills in a relaxed, supportive environment. You’ll learn core techniques including the single column tie, inline (hojo) cuff and x-frictions.
In the final section of the class, you’ll explore how to apply these skills in a simple harness – either working with a partner or practicing on yourself. Perfect for complete beginners or anyone looking to refine the basics.
Beginners Membership
If you like, there is an option to sign up for our Beginners Membership once you've enrolled in this class. This is designed to build up your shibari skills from a beginner level through to intermediate (and beyond), all while meeting great people and growing the community in a fun welcoming space. Consistency in your shibari journey is very important for developing your skills. This membership allows you to progress through the levels at a discounted rate. Once you've booked into this class, you will receive an email with more information.
