About this Event
Bachata Adult classes are now available at the Studieaux every Monday! No partner necessary. All levels are welcome
Classes are level 1, and we begin new materials every first Monday.
week 1: basics and fundamentals
week 2: turn patterns
week 3: intro to bachata sensual
week 4: patterns!
Bachata is a social latin dance from the Dominican Republic and has developed into a few modern versions of the dance. At Bachata Fuego we focus on Spanish/fusion/sensual styles. Ladies and gents, wear something comfortable to dance in and also something you would wear to go out downtown. Tops should allow you to lift your arms comfortably. Consider the materials as we sweat in class. I recommend an extra shirt in case you need to change. Pants should fit the waist or hips. Wear a belt if necessary. Ladies, please wear shorts or briefs under skirts or dresses. This is a yoga studio, and we dance in socks at this location. No perfume or cologne. Wear extra deodorant, this is dance class!
