Enroll your child for an adventurous summer of drawing, printing, and discovery with Art Adventure - Illustration & Print! Watch their creativity flourish with a week of exploring art of illustrating and printmaking. The program connects art making to American art, cultural traditions, and local history, encouraging young artists to think critically and creatively about the world around them.
Each week offers hands-on projects, gallery exploration, and fun outdoor adventures in historic Downtown Dover. Encourage your child’s artistic growth with projects that support new techniques, technical skills, and creative confidence. Their week will wrap up with a special art show where artists can proudly share their creations and celebrate with their families!
Art Adventure is organized into a week-long session offered for two age group levels. Each running Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Optional aftercare is available until 5:00 PM.
Activity examples include: Narrative Illustration Series
Relief Print Posters, Zine or Mini Art Book, Mixed-Media Print Experiments, Symbol & Identity Print, and Collaborative Print Edition. (potential, but not guaranteed)
