A new program from the JCC East Bay that centers on teens, and parents of teens, to be in community as we learn and grow through diverse discussions.______________________________________________________
Teens and parents of teens are invited to our three-part series exploring important topics affecting Jewish teens. Join us for one or all three sessions, each exploring timely community issues:
Session 1: Navigating Conversations on Antisemitism
Learn best practices for preventing and responding to antisemitic incidents, both in-person and online.
Session 2: Understanding Jewish Life on Campus
Supporting teens as they think and dream about their future college life, we will get a glimpse into what is happening on campuses and what support looks like for Jewish students today.
Session 3: Remembering the Holocaust | Zikaron B’Salon
Hear from a Holocaust survivor's harrowing journey and liberation in an intimate, age-appropriate gathering called Zikaron B'salon (remembering from the living room).
Sessions will be hosted by professionals from the JCC East Bay, Anti-Defamation League, and Berkeley Hillel, as well as UC Berkeley students.
