About this Event
Let’s TACO’Bout Her Mental Health

Balancing our well-being, sexual/reproductive health, work obligations, and family expectations are just a few of the life issues that influence women's mental health.

Can you imagine that women and young girls are still stigmatized because they have periods? Talking about periods, hormone imbalances and cramping is nearly unheard of in most Nigerian workplaces. It is interesting to notice that even women are subconsciously guilty, primarily because we do not allow dialogue to be frequent, especially in the presence of men. We can't grasp what we don't talk about, which is a disservice to us because we live in a patriarchal society and the bleeding won't stop, so let's start talking!

Join us for an evening of deconstructing stigmas surrounding mental health, menstruation, women's sexual and reproductive health, and how all of these factors influence how we present ourselves in the world.

We have an incredible lineup of successful and powerful women who are all about breaking down stigmas and offering solutions that have helped them and will assist us in our jobs and society as a whole.

Attendance is completely free! Sign up here and don't forget to bring your friends or colleagues with you.

The first 10 early arrivals get a signed copy of Foza Fawehemi's memoirs - So far so Foza - where she shares how her mental and reproductive health have impacted her journey so far.
