Let’s Sketch Chapman University

There are some big shady trees and shaded alcove areas with views of a mix of early-20th-century neoclassical/historic buildings, adaptive-reuse industrial structures, and contemporary designs that often echo the scale, materials, and palette of the older ones. It sits next to the historic Old Towne Orange district, so the surrounding streetscape adds complementary context (Victorian, Craftsman, Mediterranean Revival influences).

All are welcome whether beginner or seasoned pro. Bring your favorite sketching media, an easel if desired, and maybe a folding chair or stool. If you're new to sketching your equipment can be as simple as a pencil and a sketchbook.
