About this Event
One of the original “Seven Streets of Liverpool”, Castle Street was until fairly recently the city’s main commercial thoroughfare and still retains magnificent architecture.
Starting at the Town Hall, we’ll walk as far as the Law Courts, with short diversions into side streets. Along the way we’ll discover the elephant, camel and crocodile at the Town Hall, traces of Blitz damage, grand Liver Birds (and a tiny one), a 19th-century mosaic, and even some 21st-century street art.
Come for the walk, stay for the stories.
