Life is chaos lol and things can feel a little overwhelming at times. I posted a story today, a lot of people came back feeling the same way, so I’m calling a carbohydrate based meet up...Let’s get together for an informal connect in Haystack’s office (15 minute walk from Clapham Junction station, or a 20 minute walk from Clapham Common tube, the full address comes on order confirmation!) to grab some juice, a croissant or 5 and meet some new people.
Timings: 9.30-11am, everyone who wants to is more than welcome to stay and co-work until around 3pm, I’m then heading off to prep a dating event. My team are out for the day so I have five spare desks with fancy chairs and four desk-less beanbags, great wifi and an emotional support puppy.
Do I need to prep anything? Not at all! This is literally just to get some kind people together to chat, share what we’re up to and connect. The values as with any Haystack meet up are kindness and inclusivity so please bring ray of sunshine, supportive energy.
Do I need to bring anything? All good, I’ll grab some carbs and drinks on Matcha's card x. If you want to make an optional donation to Dogs Trust or send a friend who needs a pick me up a coffee to spread some love, feel free!
Do I need to be an entrepreneur to join? For this first one, I’d love to get a bunch of business owners (any stage, size, industry) and freelancers together, or anyone else in any form of solo-employment who’s looking to expand their support network. Equally if you’re in a job and can get away with us all taking turns to move your mouse for the morning so your teams status says “active”, you’re of course more than welcome.
Wheelchair accessible? Of course I would have never signed an office that isn’t. If you have any other access requirements pls drop me a note, I’ll do everything I can!
I’d love to join but would struggle with childcare! Honestly feel free to bring the darling and I can whack a movie on my laptop or something if helps
