Let’s Apply Together for EAGxUtrecht

Have you ever heard about EAGx? The EA community regularly organises EAG(x)s around the world. They are conferences where people from different EA communities worldwide come together to discuss global pressing problems and learn more about EA. As you are starting your journey within Effective Altruism, attending one of these conferences would help you feel more engaged with the community. It is a great opportunity to learn more about topics that interest you and meet hundreds of new people from the EA groups around the world! On 5-7 July 2024, an EAGx will happen in The Netherlands, in Utrecht.

Are you interested in knowing more about EAGxUtrecht and/or applying? We are organizing the perfect event for you: *Let’s Apply Together for EAGxUtrecht*. It will be a great opportunity to share your ideas and ask any questions you may have. We will also share our own experiences and tips and tricks to get the most out of the conference. See some quick facts about applying below:

• It's not really an application since 90% of people get taken. It is more a worksheet for you to get the most out of the conference

• The price of attendance is up to you: it can be entirely free (including travel/overnight costs- which takes an extra 30minutes doing the application) or you can contribute, up to you

• The time taken to complete the application form and prepare for the conference is also up to you: <1h or the full session if you want to prepare more for the conference

Important practical information:
• Remember to bring your laptop (recommended) or any devices you can use to type in your application!
• The event will take place on Tuesday, 28th May at 19:00 on Roeterseiland Campus. The exact room in Roeterseiland will be announced later. Make sure to keep an eye on the EA Amsterdam announcement WhatsApp group!
