Letters to my Younger Self: Exploring Inclusivity in the Arts

Come down to Alcove on April 6th, 2024, for a community conversation on the topic of inclusivity in the arts.

Hosted by A.N., a local musician and writer. She is a part of Trico Changemaker Studio’s Artist as Changemaker residency program at Mount Royal University.

This gathering will include music and poetry, food and conversation based on A.N.’s inquiry “How might we reduce the barriers to accessing safe, collaborative, learning environments and showcase opportunities in the arts?”

Alcove Centre for the Arts (alcoveartscentre.ca) is a non-profit organization based in Calgary, AB which aims to make art more accessible and promote a vibrant local arts industry. We curate and cultivate community art spaces for Calgarians to engage in art and creativity while building a platform for emerging local artists.
