Letters Between Us with Sara Matthews
About this Event
Workshop Facilitator - Sara Matthews
Letters Between Us is a creative family workshop centred around storytelling, handwritten letters and meaningful creative connection through paper and ink.
Using dipping pens, colourful inks and recycled rag paper, participants will create personal letters to one another inspired by imagination, encouragement, friendship, storytelling or shared memories.
Parents and children can choose to write letters of affirmation, short stories, imaginative messages, future notes or creative reflections in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Participants will also decorate their papers and envelopes using stamps, textures, collage elements and decorative materials.
All materials are provided, and no previous experience is necessary.
All young people need to be accompanied by an adult.
This is a family-friendly workshop suitable for all ages, so bring along the whole family – parents, carers, grandparents and friends are all welcome.
Together, we are committed to making creativity accessible to everyone by providing affordable, high-quality arts activities in the heart of Aberdeen city centre throughout the summer holidays. We aim to create welcoming, inclusive and inspiring spaces where children, young people, adults and families can explore their creativity, learn new skills and spend quality time together.
By attending this workshop, you are supporting the local creative community and Charlie House's charitable work.
This workshop is part of the SPARK! Summer Art Club delivered by SMART Art Agency in partnership with Bon Accord and EDIT Aberdeen.
