About the programme
Go green with upcycling! Learn about where your trash goes, and how we can play our part in saving the environment by making our own toys instead of buying them new. In this session with children's author Sophia Huang, get inspired to upcycle through the delightful reading of Ms Jug Finds a Home.
This programme is suitable for young children aged 3 - 8 years old.
About the Speaker
Sophia Huang is passionate about upcycling materials into toys and art with her three children, a hobby she shares on her social media page, Craftcycle for Kids. Her work is regularly featured in the media, and she has also participated in a video campaign by the National Environment Agency aimed at lowering consumption and waste in Singapore.
Please note the following:
- All participants including adults should register for 1 ticket.
- Each ticket admits 1 person only. Parents to register separate tickets for themselves and their children.
- Children must be accompanied by an adult during the session at all times.
- Arrive 10 mins before the session starts. Seats of late attendees will be given to waitlist.
- NLB reserves the right to deny entry to participants who do not abide by the ground rules.
