What is your connection with food? :)
About this Event

Food is more than nutrition, meals, or ingredients. It carries memory, identity, care, belonging, celebration and connection. This welcoming and playful workshop invites you to explore the many dimensions of food through creative games, conversations, stories, and shared reflection. Together, we will consider how food can create opportunities for multilingual dialogue, accessibility, creativity, and social connection across diverse lived experiences. And ofcourse, we will celebrate with food!!

(This is not a cooking workshop).

About the Facilitator:

Romi Beiroa King (they/them) is a multidisciplinary socially engaged artist, nutritionist, community facilitator and creative coordinator based in Ireland. Their practice explores food, care, migration, identity, and collective creativity. Romi creates welcoming spaces where people connect through the arts, play, multilingual dialogue, critical reflection, food sharing, and cultural exchange.
