Join Crescent Care on August 23rd, 1-5 pm at the Crescent Care MidCity location (2515 Canal Street) for a fun, affirming evening focused on breaking down myths surrounding queer sapphic sex. The event will include engaging, educational activities such as demonstrations on the use of finger cots, dental dams, and an informational zine on things like Strap Etiquette. In addition, we’ll be sharing general sex education information, with a focus on consent and safe practices for the sapphic community.
We will have partners, including Explicitly me, Louisiana Foundation Against Sexual Assault, Tulane’s Black queer collective, New Orleans Family Justice Center and Hope Clinic, Lesbian Finding Community (LFC), and more, that will table at the event and share information about the services and resources they provide.
The mixer will have free food, mocktails, free take-home sex supplies, and more!
