Let's Talk About G.P.E.
About this Event
warning: this is related to Black Rock City.
Whether you've worked Gate for years, signed up for your first shift this year, or have always wondered what actually happens out there on Gate Road, come hang out with some of us from Gate, Perimeter & Exodus (GPE).
This isn't an official Burning Man presentation or orientation. Just a chance to swap stories, ask questions, demystify the department, and connect with other folks who have spent (or might spend) time helping welcome Black Rock City home.
Gate, Perimeter & Exodus (GPE) is the department that welcomes participants into Black Rock City, manages access to the event, and helps everyone make their way home at the end of the week. If you've ever been curious about volunteering with GPE, or just want to hear what it's like from the people who do it, we'd love to have you join us.
Whether you're thinking about volunteering for a single shift or have years of stories to share, you're welcome.
**Please note:** This is an informal community gathering organized by individual GPE volunteers. It is **not** affiliated with, sponsored by, or hosted by the DC Burners nonprofit, the Burning Man Project, or the Gate, Perimeter & Exodus department.
