About this Event

End of Life Conversations can be scary and uncomfortable, but they don’t have to be! When we talk about dying, we’re really talking about how we want to live. So let’s ease into this inevitable conversation with a little humor, grace, and curiosity. We’ll bring the knowledge and laughs, and you’ll bring the questions you may have been too scared to ask. Together we’ll get some clarity on Advanced Directives and End of Life planning.

At the end of this workshop, attendees will receive a coupon code that will go toward a private End of Life Planning Session valued at $750, with Death Doula and Certified End of Life Planner Chanel Durley, MBA.

Chanel Durley is a Trauma-Informed Integrative Wellness Practitioner, Death Doula, and Founder of 33rd & RiSING Virtual Wellness Center. Her work is focused on holding space for BI&POC, Marginalized Communities, and our Allies to unpack from trauma and heal holistically. She holds a BA in Psychology with a focus on Behavior and an Executive MBA, and certificates of further study in focalizing, Coaching, and Energy work. Her Death Doula work under the umbrella of Mourning Flow creates space for people to prepare their end-of-life plans, normalize conversations on Grief, Death, and Dying, and tend to their bodies as they heal through Grief. She is passionate about Decolonizing and Dismantling systems of oppression in Wellness and Spirituality, and creating accessible and equitable structures within these Industries. In addition to facilitating healing sessions, you can find her sharing her expertise as a Wellness Business Consultant for Brands and Wellness Entrepreneurs. Ning Recio is a Groundfloor member and Bay Area native who's passionate about building community. A voice actor, speaking coach, and singer/songwriter, Ning loves to bring forth the vibrant and rich stories of our shared experiences. She'll be interviewing Chanel in this evening's talk!
