About this Event

You're invited to attend Let's Talk: A Community Mental Health Forum. This in-person gathering is designed to create an open and supportive space for discussing mental health topics that matter to our community.

Technology and social media can profoundly impact teen mental health. While these tools can connect and empower, they can also lead to anxiety, comparison, and isolation. On Thursday, October 10, 2024, we will come together to talk about technology and its multi-facetted impact on teen mental health. This conversational event will include a moderated discussion panel of teens and adults, followed by a series of round-table discussions between teens and community members.

Please save the date and join us for this important event. Let's Talk about mental health, together!

This event is FREE, but please RSVP to save your spot!

We want to offer a special thank you to Shawnee Mission West and the Shawnee Mission School District for allowing us to host our community forum in the Shawnee Mission West library. They are dedicated advocates for mental health and suicide prevention initiatives across our community and have been champions of Zero Reasons Why from the very beginning. We couldn't be more excited to partner with them for this event!
