Let's Swing

Let’s Swing is an upcoming joint Guitar Ensemble concert featuring three local school ensembles: Nanyang Technological University Guitar Ensemble (NTUGE), Ngee Ann Polytechnic Strings (NP Strings) and Singapore Polytechnic Guitarists (SP Guitarists). Under the baton of their decorated instructor, Mr Kevin Yeo, the three schools have come together as a 70-person-strong ensemble for a night of music and wonder.

The concert takes its name from Reiko Arima’s piece, Let’s Swing, that was composed for the 2023 Japan Guitar Association School Guitar Ensemble Contest; it will also be performed by our three schools. This unique collaboration will also reimagine well-known guitar ensemble classics such as Yuudai Hatanaka’s Samba of the Sun and Ryuichi Sakamoto’s Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence. Terms & Conditions:

1. Doors open at 7:00pm sharp.

2. The concert begins at 7:30pm sharp. Please arrive and be seated before then.

3. Beyond 7:30pm, entry into the hall will only be allowed in between pieces.

4. No more entry will be allowed after intermission.

5. There will be a 15-minute intermission.

6 . The concert will be free seating.

7. You may take pictures and videos, but the use of flash is strictly prohibited.

8. Eating and drinking in the hall is also strictly prohibited.

9. Please make sure to mute or silence your devices.

10. Please refrain from making noise during the performances.

11. No admission for infants-in-arms.

12. Tickets are non-refundable.
