Let's Play: Contact Improvisation Performance

We warmly invite you to join us for a Contact Improvisation event that aims to bring people together and celebrate the beauty of this dance form, while also raising awareness about our changing environment and climate. In honor of Nancy Stark Smith, who passed away in May 2020, we will gather at Randy Warshaw Studio to create Contact Improv performances with spontaneous live music in New York City on May 13th from 7:30pm-8:30pm.

To support our commitment to the environment, we will donate 20% of all contributions to the Rainforest Action Network, a non-profit organization that works to preserve forests, protect the climate, and uphold human rights. We kindly request that you arrive at the studio between 7:15-7:25pm to ensure a prompt start to the event.

Location: Randy Warshaw Studio, 115 Wooster st. New York, NY

Time and date: 7:30pm-8:30pm on June 10, Saturday

1. Please arrive at Randy Warshaw studio between 7:15-7:25pm. Upon arrival, a person will be stationed at the building entrance to grant you access. Once inside, proceed one floor above and take the first door on your left. Make a left turn and you will come across a door ahead. Walk towards that door and take a right turn. From there, continue straight ahead until you reach the studio door.
2. Masks are optional at this event.
3. Please note that no food or drinks in open containers are allowed in the space.
4. You can support our event by paying at the door by cash or Venmo (@improv_space_ci) before the show to avoid Eventbrite processing fees. Sliding scale 10$-20$.

If you require elevator access, please let us know in advance so we can ensure it is functioning properly.
