Let's Make Turtle Stitch Logos at Rugby Library:

Get creative with our Turtle Stitch Logos craft session, celebrating this year's Summer Reading Challenge!

Inspired by the 2026 Summer Reading Challenge theme, 'Read to the Beat', this fun activity combines creativity, colour and design. Children will create their own unique logo using simple turtle stitching coded embrodiery techniques, taking inspiration from music, rhythm, reading and their favourite stories. All materials will be provided.

Whether you design a logo for an imaginary band, a favourite book character or something completely original, you'll learn a new craft skill while celebrating a summer filled with reading adventures.

These sessions are great for:

• Exploring the connection between coding, design and creativity through TurtleStitch
• Building confidence by learning new digital and practical making skills
• Developing creativity and self-expression through designing and making
• Celebrating the Summer Reading Challenge and sharing a love of reading
• Discovering what our libraries offer

Time: 2:30pm – 4:00pm

Date: Friday 7th August 2026

Age: 8+ years old (Please note: children must be accompanied by an adult at all times)
