Learn to make silver jewelry with innovated Art Clay Silver! Art Clay is 99.9% pure silver that has been powdered and mixed with organic binders and water to make a clay like material. It can be rolled, stamped and sculpted just like clay, but when fired the organic binders burn away leaving pure silver! In this class you will learn how to make earrings or/and a pendant. Art Clay Master Instructor, Pam East is an internationally known artist, writer and teacher. Her work and instructional articles have appeared in Art Jewelry Magazine, Lapidary Journal, Metal Clay Artist Magazine, and many others. Pam has been an invited speaker, giving classes and lectures at the Enamelist Society Biennial Conference, the Metal Clay World Conference, SINTER, The Metal Clay Artist Symposium, and the Pan-European Metal Clay Festival. In 2024 Pam was honored with the Lis-el Crowly Vision award. Each year this award is given to one individual who exemplifies the spirit of generosity, advancement of metal clay artistry, support for the metal clay community and serves as an ambassador for metal clay to the broader public.
