Let's Grow! An SCLT Earth Day Celebration

Let's Grow! is the new and improved Southside Community Land Trust Urban Agriculture Kick-Off, an event we've hosted for many years in South Providence. This Earth Day, SCLT, in partnership with the Northern Rhode Island Conservation District (NRICD), are opening our doors at 404 Broad Street for a free, family-friendly morning of workshops, resources, giveaways, and community. Whether you tend a backyard plot, farm with SCLT, or have never grown anything in your life, there's something here for you.

Throughout the morning, NRICD will be teaching people of all ages how to grow herbs in small containers. Plant your own and take it home, free! Food will be available for purchase from , and SCLT members can pick up 50 gallons of free organic compost on site. New to SCLT? Sign up for an annual on the spot.

Also happening that morning: a BioBlitz at SCLT's Peace & Plenty Community Garden, starting at 9 AM. All are welcome — contact Doug at [email protected] to register.
