About this Event
Do you enjoy the wildflowers of urban parks or your own garden? Ever wonder which types of pollinators also enjoy them? Join participatory scientists from Earthwise Aware (EwA) and Ranger Tim at Lusitania Meadow to learn how you can help document arthropod activity around Fresh Pond and in your neighborhood.

What to Expect:
Join us in the meadow for an afternoon of arthropod exploration!
- Learn how to identify arthropods and their host plants.
- Discover how to document their activity, abundance, and developmental stages.
- Contribute by using our mobile app, EwA Buggy, to record your findings.
Before You Arrive: Register in advance by installing Anecdata (our host platform) and joining the EwA Buggy project [instructions].
Bonus—Your participation supports urban conservation—and you may just rediscover a sense of wonder!
⚠ IMPORTANT: Please don’t be a no-show! Our events often have waitlists, so if you can’t attend, kindly let us know a few days in advance. This allows someone else the opportunity to participate. Thank you for your consideration!
ⓘ Why limit attendance? EwA keeps events small to minimize impact and ensure ethical, respectful engagement with wildlife and habitats.
