The purpose of this fundraiser is to raise funds to help cover associated costs that go along with treatment including: travel fees, co-pays, parking fees that are no longer covered, specialty testing, as well as other substantial costs associated with battling advanced Stage IV Lung cancer.

Noah was diagnosed with Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC) in May of 2020 at 36 years old. He under went a lung resection at that time and has been valiantly fighting ever since! In December of 2021, what Noah thought was a pinched nerve from a work related accident, was later diagnosed in February of 2022 as metastatic process to his left pelvis/ hip bone. This spread advanced his cancer to Stage IV NSCLC. With technology and major advancements in cancer research his medical team was able to identify the cell type and start him on a cell specific targeted treatment- Tagrisso. This chemo agent kept the cancer at bay, affording Noah to live a normal life for almost 2.5 years. In July/ August 2024 he found that the cancer cells mutated and had progressed further in his originally affected left hip, his right shoulder blade, and two lesions on his brain. This news was devastating but Noah continued to FIGHT. The next chemo Medic*tion to treat the mutation of the cancer cells was Rybrevant, which he started in August of 2024. This treatment came with significantly more side effects! Our hopes were simply that the Rybrevant would award Noah another 2 or more years of 'normalcy' again and bring the cancer spread to a halt.

Unfortunately, that has not been the case for Noah as he continues to fight. The last brain MRI showed 20 measurable brain lesions, with the PET scan showing increased advancement to his right and left shoulder blades, vertebral/ spinal involvement, and advancement to his liver.

The next Medic*tion for his EGFR mutation is still in THE PHASE 2 OF TRIAL for NSCLC. it is not officially approved yet and still needs to go through Phases 3 and Phase 4 before it hits the market as an effective treatment. We are hopeful as it is known to be successful in treatment of breast cancer. The doctors are saying In the phase 1 of the trial, this Medic*tion has an average of 40%- 60% chance of success among those in the study. Any chance is better than no chance.

Noah is now 41 years old, and perused a career change becoming a respiratory therapist after his initial diagnosis in 2020. He wanted to help those with respiratory problems. All while helping him find purpose in the early stages of his fight. Over the last 5 years Noah and his family have adapted and accommodated to the challenges they have been faced with along the way with ebs and flow.

As Noah continues to to fight the hardest battle he has ever fought. One of the most important aspects for him is that his three children Ryker age 12, Conri age 8, and Harlow age 8 maintain normalcy and get the support they need as they start to adapt to a "new normal" with the cancers progression. He is no longer able to go to amusement parks, go to the beach, go swiming, and a few other things due to his pain limitation and the effects chemo treatments have had on his skin.

Noah had always taken challenges and battles head on, cancer is no exception. He said he isnt afraid of what is going to happen to him. His only regret is that his "time is being cut short with his kids". A family friendly fundraiser seemed extraordinarily appropriate to honor his battle and bring families together. Please come support Noah. Enjoy time with your family, participate in the fun, enjoy some treats from the tasty food trucks all while making a huge difference in someone's life.
