Wheel Throwing basics/refresher course. Keep up to 2 pieces. Includes glaze & firing.

Have you every wanted to try your hand at wheel throwing?
Now's your chance. Join us for this Instructor led beginner/refresher class. You will learn the basics of wheel throwing. The mechanics of a pottery wheel. How to center your clay, pull a wall and trim your finished piece. You will get to pick your glaze color and keep up to 2 pieces of finished pottery. Glaze and firing is included with the class. Your pottery pieces will be ready for pick up within 30 days of class (pottery needs time to dry slowly, bisque fire and glaze fire).
Pottery is food, microwave and dishwasher safe stoneware after fired in our kiln.
Left handed - no problem! Please let us know when you arrive so we can adjust your wheel to spin the correct way for a left handed person.
We are a relaxed and family friendly classroom studio. Please wear clothes you are ok with getting messy. Disposable apron is provided.
FIngernails and pottery are not friends, keep this in mind.
