Let's Get Lit: Christiana Jackson, Marcela Onyango, Calvin Cato, and Wes Hazard

For all you haters of Valentine’s Day comedian and actor Blaze Mancillas melds the worlds of comedy and literature by reading two short stories by Charles Dickens about those annoying couples we all can’t stand with an improvised musical score by Brooklyn-based Jazz band Ember.

Four comedians, Christiana Jackson (New York Comedy Festival), Marcela Onyango (Feel The News), Calvin Cato (Game Show Network) and Wes Hazard (Jeopardy!) interrupt the storytelling to provide their jokes, questions, commentary and whatever pops into their heads!

Celebrate the cuffing season with a night of silly stories, live jazz and plenty of laughs.

HOST BIO

Blaze Mancillas is a comedian, actor and filmmaker living in New York City. He was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. He has played characters in video games like Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption II. In 2020 he won a Webby Award hosting music-trivia game show SongPop Live. He’s the creator of Let’s Get Lit, the podcast, where he reads the entirety of The War of the Worlds and each episode features a different comic interjecting with their jokes and commentary.
