Have fun learning how to make a chunky knit blanket! Our hands-on workshop teaches you how to use your hands to create your very own cozy, soft and plush blanket. Once you learn how, Chunky throws can be whipped up in a day. The throws make the perfect handmade gift for someone that has everything!
No tools are needed, but you will need to PROVIDE YOUR OWN YARN. Chunky Yarn can be found at all of the craft stores. If you shop around, its likely you can find it on sale at Hobby Lobby or Michaels. You will need 6 SKEINS of yarn which is enough to make a 40″ x 50″ lap blanket. If you want a larger blanket, buy more yarn! Make sure that the dye lot # is the same for each one, otherwise the color will be slightly different.
