Join us along for a fun, free community event brought to you by Kāinga Ora and Eke Panuku.Te Ara Awataha is an amazing addition to our community; it connects our places and people, and is home to native flora and fauna. It’s taken a huge team effort of time, energy and expertise to breathe life into this amazing location – so we think it’s worth celebrating.
Bring the family and wander along the stream, visit the parks and town centre; you’ll find all sorts of activities and awesome entertainment including:
• Free face painting and sausage sizzle
• Chalk drawing and nature activities
• Planting and ecology workshops
• Live music, local eateries and information stalls
