?The recent senseless violence at Club Q Colorado Springs was a wake-up call for most of us. Our shared LGBTQ community is, once again, under attack. Now, more than ever, we must cast aside our insignificant differences and unite as one community.?When people you love are hurting, you hurt too. That's empathy. And although you can't take away their hurt, you can show them they're not in this alone. They're surrounded in love.
?I reached out to my friends Denver Emperor Alexander Sexton & Denver Empress Jackie O (Joe) to see if they'd co-host a fundraiser with me to help the victims rebuild. They immediately accepted. ?
?On behalf of the Long Beach Imperial Court's Reign 51: the Court of LIGHT, in partnership with the Imperial Court of the Rocky Mountain Empire (Denver), I cordially invite all of you to Denver, Colorado, for "Let There Be LIGHT... for Colorado Springs" at Hamburger Mary's Denver on Friday, December 23 at 10 PM. We've got a great show/fundraiser planned for the community & you. Grab some friends & pop in.
?100% of ALL MONEY raised for this event will be donated to the United Court of the Pikes Peak Empire (Colorado Springs), which will best know how to use it to help Club Q & victims rebuild.
