Let the People Hear It: Concerts from the Library of Congress at 100 Book Talk with Nicholas Brown-Cáceres and David Plylar
About this Event

Date: Thursday January 22
Time: 4:00 PM
Location: Spingold Theater Center, Merrick Theater

Join us for a conversation with authors Nicholas Brown-Cáceres and David Plylar as they explore the legacy of the Library of Congress’s world-class concert series, as documented in their book . The event will include an author presentation, an audience Q&A, and a book signing.

The event also highlights the many connections between Brandeis and the nation’s library, which holds the papers of (and has commissioned) past Music Department faculty members Leonard Bernstein, Aaron Copland, Irving Fine, Marty Boykan, and Eric Chasalow. Nicholas Brown-Cáceres is a Brandeis alum (’10), further underscoring the ties between our campus and this remarkable musical legacy.

RSVP is optional. Walk-ins are welcome.
