Experience the story of Anne Frank in a powerful international exhibition coming to Johnstown.Hope Springs Eternal: The Holocaust Project presents “Let Me Be Myself: The Life Story of Anne Frank,” open to the public at the Frank & Sylvia Pasquerilla Heritage Discovery Center March through June 2026.
Developed by the Anne Frank Center at the University of South Carolina, this moving exhibition explores Anne Frank’s life within the larger history of the Holocaust and World War II. Through large-scale imagery and historical storytelling, visitors will follow Anne’s journey while learning about the rise of the Nazi Party and the persecution of Jewish people across Europe.
The exhibition will also feature World War II artifacts donated by local residents, connecting this global story to the personal histories of families throughout the Laurel Highlands.
