Let Me Be Frank! Fundraiser

Let Me Be Frank! is inspired by my life experiences, particularly my intergenerational friendships, and by instrumental women in my life, many of which immigrated to Canada several years ago. A diverse set of eyes through song. Younger me dreams of seeing a film like Let Me Be Frank!.

In Broadway’s last pre-pandemic season (2018-19), women accounted for only 32% of title roles in new shows. LMBF!, however, is entirely dedicated to exploring womanhood in an unabashed, modern, and diverse way.

Ultimately, Let Me Be Frank! is about claiming one's voice and rewriting the narrative of oppression, advocating for an equal and equitable place in society. This vibrant and compelling narrative is a call to embrace life and take action.

We are all comrades demanding just spaces for women / non-binary / trans-women to express, to be heard and to be believed in. A forever fight. A fight fit for us; one that is and will be my life’s work. I hope to have you join me and be apart of this magical story, a portrait of womanhood: Let Me Be Frank!

On August 1st, we will have a very special auction full of original art pieces, fashion items, experiences, along with unforgettable performances by some of Canada's greatest talents. Our goal for the evening is to raise $10,000 for our first section of filming this fall. With your help we can begin telling a deeply important and needed story.
