ABOUT LET HER SPEAK!
LET HER SPEAK! (2020) is a Copenhagen-based comedy and performance collective, focusing on gender minorities in stand-up, improv comedy, music, poetry and cross-genre formats.
The collective works as an internationalist, intersectional feminist collective to create a broader representation on the comedy scene, with narratives and performances by gender minorities, queers and femmes, people of color and others who are otherwise rarely invited on to the performance stage.
LHS! shows are in English, and everyone’s welcome as feminist allies and as curious audience members. We hope to make comedy venues more accessible to wheelchair users and make audiences feel safe prior to, during and after our shows.
LHS! is a non-profit organisation that produces and co-produces shows, provide know-how for up and coming artists. We are able for booking as hosts, panelists, comedians and artists for events, talks and debates. We help each other through LHS! and the community has flourished since we found out that supporting each other is FUN.
LHS! do not tolerate sexism, racism, ableism, homophobia, transphobia, fatphobia or any kind of discrimination.
