Guardian Training & Consulting is excited to announce that we will now be offering Less-Lethal Defense training classes.
These classes are designed for responsible citizens who want practical, effective personal protection options beyond the firearm. Students will learn how to safely, legally, and effectively carry, handle, and deploy common less-lethal defensive tools in a safe and controlled training environment.
Guardian will be offering two separate classes:
Pepper Spray for Self-Defense
This class covers the fundamentals of selecting, carrying, and deploying pepper spray and gel for personal defense. Students will learn how pepper spray works, proper deployment techniques, effective targeting, safety considerations, storage, maintenance, and legal considerations. Hands-on training will be conducted using inert training units only.
TASER Devices for Self-Defense
This class covers the safe and effective use of TASER personal defense devices, including the TASER Pulse 2 and TASER StrikeLight 2. Students will learn device operation, deployment considerations, safe handling, storage, maintenance, legal considerations, and will participate in hands-on training with instructor-approved training devices.
Both classes are introductory and require no prior experience. Training is conducted under instructor supervision with an emphasis on safety, confidence, responsible carry, and lawful use.
Students may attend either class individually or complete both as part of Guardian’s Less-Lethal Defense Series.
Because carrying a tool is not the same as knowing how to use it.
