Details

• All participants must be 21 or older

• The goal is to have fun, not to get to the destination as quickly as possible. Therefore, the pace will be leisure/moderate and is approachable for most riders.

• Cost is $30/participant.

• We will meet at our Brewery/Taproom in the University Village! The address is 26 E 5th Avenue, Columbus, OH.

• We will be utilizing Alum Creek Multi-use trail (Ohio to Erie Trail), the route is posted below. Most of the route is paved path but there are small sections that will be on the road so please use caution.

• We will stop briefly at the ~1/2 point where our company van will be stationed - McNamara Park in Westerville (marked in red on the map). The van will be equipped with water refill, snacks and bike maintenance tools. There are also restrooms available at the park.

• Each rider will get (3) beer tickets upon arrival at Marengo. Tickets can be used at either our Marengo location or 5th Ave location after returning to Columbus.

• We have a $15 add-on option for patrons wishing to have themselves and their bikes transported back to our 5th Ave location. The bus will leave Marengo at 2pm sharp.

What you will need

For those who might not be avid cyclists, we recommend:

• Road-worthy bicycle capable of long distances
• Helmet & Goggles
• Water bottle
• Moisture wicking athletic clothing
• Sunscreen

We also suggest that you bring support equipment along such as a spare tube, pump, Allen keys, etc.

What we will provide

A lead cyclist who will guide the way on the route, a support vehicle at the ~1/2 point, refreshments will be provided at the halfway point with restrooms. (3) beer tickets upon arrival at our Marengo location.

We will also have one of our experienced riders hang in the back of the pack in case someone has issues with their equipment or needs assistance.

Routes

We have prepared a couple route options for riders who prefer turn-by-turn directions. Garmin Connect requires a compatible watch or trip computer. Ride with GPS is a paid subscription service that is available on iPhone and Android devices. Adjustments to the route may be made ahead of the event in case of road closures or other obstacles. Please be sure to download or sync the latest route to your trip computer or smartphone just prior to the event.
