About this Event
Leo Filipetti is a Parisian who left home for Australia after meeting his girlfriend in Darwin. After all Australia is the real capital of love and light – at least now that he has arrived from Paris to share his humour.
He fell in love with Australia and lives here now, in the real capital of love, Melbourne. Off the back of his Melbourne International Comedy Festival show, he joins us for one special comedy show!
In the end we all share the same struggles in life, so you'll relate to his stories about relationships, food and having a French mum. Except when you’re French, it’s twice as hard but c’est la vie. Leo will be sure to complain about it.
Whether you’re French, Australian or any other nationality, come share a laugh you’ll never forget.

This Les Lumières event is being held as part of the 2026 Bastille Day French Festival.
Let's meet under The Eiffel Tower! The Bastille Day French Festival returns to the iconic Queen Victoria Market Sheds C & D on Saturday 11th & Sunday 12th July.
Walk into a wintry French town square right in the heart of Melbourne.
