Join us November 9th for a night of short films by Les Blank.
-The Blues Accordin’ to Lightnin’ Hopkins (1968)
-God Respects Us When We Work But Loves Us When We Dance (1968)
-Dizzy Gillespie (1965)
-Christopher Tree (1967)
Music, humor, and eccentric characters, these films are a great introduction to Blank’s curious and humanistic approach to documentary filmmaking.
